Classes are great but you get so much more.
The classes are great. I've watched my son grow and develop. It's the staff that makes the real difference, though. They value and are invested in their students. We feel appreciated and like family.

This is the best Karate Studio! My 3 year is learning at a young age and it is effective. She is learning repect and how to stay in control. I am extremely glad we decided to enroll her in these classes with great teachers!

I came to the dojo almost a year ago with my now 6 yr old son with severe behavior and focus issues. Through perserverance and a family atmosphere my son has improved 200%. My two girls and myself are now in martial arts and our lives have improved ten fold.
More than Martial Arts...
...This Dojo is the best decision I've made since asking my wife to marry me. It is a refuge, a classroom, a gym, a therapy office, an energy source and a place to engage the energy in your being and learn to control it. My wife thanks me for getting us involved and my kids are so comfortable there already and they are both still too young to start classes...can't wait until they do!

I'm so glad we found this dojo! My son has really become a respectful young man because of the teachers here! Everyone truly cares about teaching the principles of karate. My son attended a board breaking seminar and was afraid to try because he was afraid he wouldn't be able to do it, but with the encouragement of the staff, he was breaking boards and loving it! If your looking for a karate home, just look here!! It's awesome!
A Blessing...
Once we knew my grandson needed to find a new way to use his energy...we found Karate Plus Martial Arts. The staff is awesome. My grandson has learned to follow instructions...he is learning to focus on task...he is being taught to respect the adults in his life. And of course he's learning Karate while having so much fun. Like I said earlier...a true Blessing. Thanks all!

I had to do a college paper on a small business and chose to interview Grandmaster Lockhart. It was the best decision I made for an interview. I gained insight into the man and the business, and this is what I discovered. Grandmaster Lockhart is not only a respected leader in the Martial Arts Community, but he and his staff are inspirational leaders in the local community. My Grandson started classes when he was two years old and has learned to be a respectful and insrpirational leader for his community. Now at age three, he is rising in belt rank, making new friends, and learning to be a leader (not a menace), in his commmunity. I have nothing but admiration and appreciation for Grandmaster Lockhart and the entire staff at Martial Arts P.D.C. A big Thank You goes out to Grandmaster Lockhart, Ms. Janine, and Mr. Sanchez. My son and I love this dojo! We have been members for two years and we have gained so much from participating. My son has gotten stronger, more disciplined, and more mature. I have lost some weight, gained energy, found muscles I never knew I had, and have been having a blast! As a middle-aged teacher, it is wonderful to try something that is hard for me and to watch excellent teachers in another discipline in action. Dr. Lockhart and his staff are incredibly accomplished. More important to me is the fact that they know how to be inclusive to all ages and abilities and that the dojo is very family-oriented. This dojo is filled with upstanding, family-oriented, caring men and women on staff and in class. The dojo gives us motivation and a sense of belonging. I know my son is well cared for there and that the lessons we are learning there will stay with us for a lifetime.
