Q: What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A: Successful results from hiring a Business Consultant and/or Business Coach is the development of a strong relationship with the individual or the firm that you are engaging. When hiring a consultant, you need to develop a high level of trust and confidence in their ability for them to deliver the high quality services that you as the customer require based on their experience. A business coach requires similar characteristics with the exception that the coach will help you identify and achieve the changes you are looking. They, the coach, can also provide assessment tools to help you better understand your strengths in order to be successful.

His goal is to provide advisory assistance to individuals and organizations to address various organizational and IT issues through customized offerings in the areas of business/IT strategies, leadership and personal development. In addition, John will be providing youth leadership development programs for middle school and high school age students. John has developed a series of thought leadership podcasts on his internet radio show, "Making Headway", which can be accessed through his website at www.HeadwayStrategiesConsulting.com Most recently, John has written a book called "The Compass Approach - Successfully Charting Your Business Via The Compass". This will be the basis for several different workshop offerings that will be offered in 2016 Q1 and Q2.

How We Charge For Our Services
Coaching - Business & Executive
- $100.00 to $150.00 per hour
First session is focused on "discovery" of the individual's needs and is provided at no charge. I typically work with the client to develop a "program" which is responsive to their specific needs. The program includes periodic follow-up upon completion. However, these billing rates represent ranges for hourly customer contact time.

Coaching - Personal & Lifestyle
- $80.00 to $125.00 per hour
First session is focused on "discovery" of the individual's needs and is provided at no charge. I typically work on a fixed fee basis based on the needs of the client. However, these billing rates represent ranges for hourly customer contact time.

Employment & Career Counseling
- $80.00 to $125.00 per hour
First session is focused on "discovery" of the individual's needs and is provided at no charge. I work on a fixed fees basis, the billing rates are for customer contact time.

Management Consulting
- $100.00 to $250.00 per hour
First session is focused on "discovery" of the organization's needs and is provided at no charge. As a result of the the "discovery" session; engagement costs are determined based on the agreed scope of work and skills required. The scope of work can be driven by number of a several factors such as number of participants, duration, locations..etc. Typically, I tend to work on a fixed fee basis for the project. The rates identified above represent the range of skills that could be required for the engagement.
