* I live downtown in an older condo and wanted to update my kitchen as well as my 2nd floor loft and staircase. Our property manager referred Boardwalk to me. * I got to know Craig Bortman of Boardwalk Construction a couple of years ago, when he took on the challenge of converting my 40 year old home in Corona Del Mar to a state of the art home of 2016-17. The project ended up touching essentially every wall, roofing, flooring, cabinetry, all plumbing and electricals etc. etc....
Craig managed to provide excellent balance of costs , quality and schedule. He showed great creativity and great attitude. He became a very reliable partner through this exercise. I will have no hesitation in recommending Boardwalk Construction for any one in need of major remodeling or new construction.

How We Charge For Our Services

Addition to House - Build
- $225.00 to $285.00 per square foot for premium grade construction
- $125.00 to $150.00 per square foot for standard grade construction
On building materials we only mark them up 10% to cover our handling and delivery costs. We encourage the clients to shop online to get the best prices for their plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, appliances etc. This speeds up the construction process. We take care of all the rough materials.

Basement - New Basement Addition
- $150.00 to $200.00 per square foot
These costs are based on the finish materials. For example natural stone used for flooring and shower walls is going to be much more for the labor to install and the material costs. A tile roof is going to cost more than a composition roof.
