Our story begins in 1994 when Norwex first started in Norway, under the name Eidsvoll Miljoprodukter. The concept of Cleaning without Chemicals spread quickly, and today we also operate in Canada, the United States, Australia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. With international expansion plans in the making, we look forward to spreading our mission of radically reducing chemicals in personal care and household products to countries around the world.

Ecocert is a premier European organization that sets the standard for natural and organic products. To be certified organic, Ecocert requires that:
•At least 95% of the ingredients must be of vegetable/plant origin
•A minimum of 10% of total ingredients must be certified organic
•A product may contain a maximum of 5% synthetic ingredients, none of which can be on the negative list of ingredients
