What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

Don't go for the cheapest guy, often times companies offering bottom dollar deals, do not have the advanced knowledge to keep your home and themselves safe and do work that can shorten the life of your exterior and roof.
Be sure they are licensed and bonded to protect both the client and the company.
Take the time to research whom you're working for.

Upright Exterior Services offers a full-service roof cleaning with a transferable 12-month guarantee, which means if you see any new green growth, we will come out and spray the roof again at no additional cost. If you participate in our recommended annual roof cleaning program, we would return yearly at half price to keep your roof in the best condition possible.

How do you perform your roof wash?
We use a low pressure “Soft-Wash” system specifically designed for cleaning roofs and avoid “high-pressure cleaning” or hard and aggressive hand brushing as both can cause loss of granules and shorten roof life. If complete and immediate moss removal is required, we can hand brush the entire roof at an additional cost.
What can we do to stop the problem (Moss, Mold, Mildew ect)
Typically our exterior siding wash lasts between 2-5 years based on the surrounding vegetation. In order to keep your home looking like new an annual service is recommended in densely vegetative areas, if you don't have many trees around, you can go 3-5 years between cleaning.
What types of products do you use?
We use a proprietarily blended detergent that is an industry standard in the Pressure Washing industry. It utilizes a small amount of industrial bleach to help keep surfaces from regrowth of moss & mildew.

We recently had the opportunity to work for the Archdiocese of Portland power washing their retired pastoral homes, they were so nice to work for and so appreciative of our efforts, we hope to come back and provide services for them annually. Their job was 16 condos and took about 6 days to complete exterior siding, roof and gutter maintenance.
