Questions & Answers
Q: What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A: When searching for a home inspection company more than likely you are already in the buying process. After your offer has been accepted you are now in your ten day option period. The biggest thing I tell my clients and potential clients is do not rush and pick the first inspector you call. Have a set of questions for inspectors. Ask them about their experiance with not only inspection, but residential construction. Ask them what tools they use during insepctions. What reporting style do they use? Inspectors vary greatly in their skill sets, equiptment, and reporting styles. Then there is the personal aspect. Is the insepctor approachable? Can they convey information to me in a way that makes sense to me? The last thing I tell people is to not have price as their number one concern. Yes, purchasing a home takes a great deal of your time and often has fees and expenses that may not have been expected. I speak with many people that only care about how much. You should be more concerned with what you will recieve. Can you find an inspector for $250 to inspect a 4000 square foot home? Yes, but will it really provide you with any usable information? The real question is what is that newer or less experianced inspector possibly costing you. If an inspector misses something and your AC goes out a month after you move in is a $6000 repair worth the few hundred dollars saved on the inspection? In short, find a reputable, experianced, educated, and approachable inspector. Remember the time honored maxim "you get what you pay for."

Q: What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?
A: The most common type of inspection service I perform is for clients purchasing a used home. I have inspected homes that range in both age and size. From pier and beam homes built in 1901, elevated beach front properties, high rise luxury apartments, 4 story town homes, and 7000 sqaure foot new construction.

Q: What would you like your customers to know about your company?
A: The biggest thing I always want my customers to know is I am here for them. I work directly for them. If they ever have any questions they should know myh phone is always on. Morrow Inspection Services, PLLC also owes a great deal of thanks to our amazing customers! Without you we would not be where we are today. Thank you again!

Q: What is your company best known for?
A: Morrow Inspection Services, PLLC is best known for the value we provide to our clients during their buying process. Through my knowledge and experiance with residential contruction I see homes in a different way than my clients do. I understand construction methods and I notice what may be masked or hidden red flags. I have personally recieved various forms of thanks over the years. One of the most common forms is just verbal "thank you, we had no idea something like that could be such an expensive issue. You may have really saved us from something we couldn't afford." Value, it is the number one thing I am known for to myh clients. What they recieve from me far out wieghs any fee they pay me. Providing value is a real skill set. Yes, being on time, professional, and appearance are all part of value, but they dont require skills. The knowledge part of the value I deliver will always be what I am best known for.

Q: What separates your company from the competition?
A: Part of what sets Morrow Inspection Services, PLLC apart from other inspection companies is our service that is part of the value we are known for. As a home inspector we have to report to the minimum standards of practice. The minimum is just that, the minimum amount of work an inspector has to put out. There is nothing that says the inspector cant do more. I personally have spent many hours on the phone with clients going over inspection reports. Explaining every detail of deficiencies and their possible implications. I have personally contacted material manufacterers to get detailed install instructions for their products for clients (to give written documentation to a builder that their install was not acceptable and would need to be redone). Little things like this are beyond what is required, but are the details that seperate us from our competition. During the insepction you will also be provided with refreshments and snacks. Again, just part of our service that sets us apart from our competition.

Q: Does your company offer a warranty or guarantee?
A: Yes, in fact Morrow Inspection Servces, PLLC is so confident in our insepctions that we offer what is called a buy back gaurantee. As long as you have realtor representation during your buying process if we miss something during the inspection your home can be bought back from you for the full amount paid. No matter what the cost of your home you can rest assured that you are covered.

Q: What questions do customers most frequently ask you? What is your answer?
A: To be honest it is normally a two part question. It is normally are you available on ___ day and then it is followed up with how much. The first part is usually easy to answer as all I have to do is look at my schedule. The second part takes some follow up from me. I do not give ball park numbers or general quotes. For me to give an exact quote for a full home inspection I need to know a few things about the property. How big is it, where is the home, how old is the home, and is the home on foundation or peir and beam? From their i can give an accurate quote. I do not adjust my prices based on the price of the home. The home could cost $50k or $1 million. I am one of the personality types though that enjoys speaking with people and answering questions. I normally take time to tell people about myself, experiance, and qualifications during the quoting process as I know many (especially first time buyers) are not fully educated on what to ask their home inspector.

Q: Is your company a member of any associations?
A: Yes, I am a member in good standing with the International Association of Home insepctors (interNACHI).

Q: What forms of payment do you accept? (cash, check, credit cards, etc.)
A: Morrow Inspecion Services, PLLC accepted forms of payment are cash, check, money order, or credit cards.
