Architects - Commercial
- 6.00 to 15.00 percent of construction cost
Commercial projects can have a lot of jurisdictional requirements that take time, they can also have much interior design and product specification, both of these can greatly affect the cost of the architecture services.

Architects - Residential
- 10.00 to 15.00 percent of construction cost
Architecture services for residential are billed hourly not-to-exceed and are broken down to each phase of the process, go-ahead only happening once the client has signed off on the previous phase, this gives the client full knowledge and control over what they have agreed to and the design budget. Once the design development phase is completed and accepted, a fixed fee is provided for construction documents and contract administration.
