Questions & Answers
Q: What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A: In regards to our roof work, 2e are more of a "boutique" organization & are not high pressure; we do not run 10 jobs a week with a salesperson who hands your job off to a production manager. Our services are thorough & detailed & are often called on to provide service after other avenues have been exhausted. We do specialty metal roofing work, both repairs, new construction & re-fit / replacement. For gutters, we supply both 5" & 6" seamless system in the popular "K" style. We also offer a specialty 1/2 round system & can provide copper as well (please note that copper will start out in a lovely color but it is natural to tarnish to a green patina; if you want a long term copper color, we have a painted finish in this variety).

Q: What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?
A: Roofing services including basic repairs, chimney reflashing & total roof removal / replacement in both shingles, metal, low slope products (Modified Bitumen, TPO, PVC) & gutter installation, rehab & replacement. We also provide gutter repairs, remediation & both repairs / replacement / new installations.

Q: In what ways is your company environmentally friendly?
A: For applications on a 'true flat' type installation, we offer a PVC & TPO system that is done via overlay while utilizing a recovery board system. This not only removes waste that would otherwise be sent to a landfill, it also improves the overall "R Value" of the roof envelope. For a common asphalt shingle installation, we look to dispose of shingles in a recycling facility that will utilize the shingle products to make road base & other productive uses for this waste product.

Q: What would you like your customers to know about your company?
A: We are a smaller company where the owner often provides the repair service vs. any outsourced assistance. We can provide shingles, metal, tile & low slope / true flat service whether repairs, new construction or a total re-roofing.

Q: What is your company best known for?
A: Roofing services, as noted in the other questions (& answers, obviously).

Q: What separates your company from the competition?
A: We are not high pressure & we don't utilize any salespeople who will try to steer you into a solution that doesn't work best for your particular application or situation.

Q: Does your company offer a warranty or guarantee?
A: Repair warranties vary depending on the service needed & the solution the customer selects (based on their short or long term needs plus budgetary concerns). Total re-roofing services receive a minimum of 5 years for labor with the manufacturer's warranty varying depending on the type of products as selected by the customer.

Q: What questions do customers most frequently ask you? What is your answer?
A: "When can you come out to meet with us & look over the roof?" - seems kinda basic, but really, that's the one.

Q: Does your company offer discounts to senior citizens or veterans?
A: We do offer discounts, however this is a very difficult thing to explain because we do not have a set / specific pricing schedule.

Q: Describe a project or service that your company recently completed (include challenges, costs, and innovative solutions).
A: We recently assisted a customer with blow-offs due to high winds. The customer was concerned about appearances because they are looking to put their house on the market & wanted to determine if an insurance claim was something to explore. With our inspection, we determined that an insurance claim wasn't really valid & would not be within the scope of their policy coverage. They were surprised to get that response from us because insurance claims provide a much higher payout in comparison to the average "retail" quote & most roofing companies will often push for an insurance claim, even when it is not a guaranteed approval... it is the "let's see what sticks to the wall" approach.

Q: Is your company a member of any associations?
A: No, however we do participate in many community events & donate both time & resources to these activities. Please ask us about our community involvement.

Q: Tell us a little about your company.
A: We have provided roofing solutions for over 17 years & in the last 4 years have expanded into gutter services.

Q: Has your company received any awards?
A: No, because we are a smaller co. that does not have membership in larger trade associations that often collect dues simply to stay in business as a trade association.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept? (cash, check, credit cards, etc.)
A: As most would recognize, ca$h is King, however we do accept checks, credit cards & financing IS available through 3rd party financial institutions.
