5343 Belleville Crossing - Belleville, IL 62226
I have a small business that runs on honesty and hard work. I have been doing this now for over 20 years and still love it. My price for mowing in the Belleville, Columbia, Waterloo area is $30-35 1/4 acre $40-45 1/2 acre $65 and up for 1 acre or more. Mulch prices are at $25 per cubic yard for twice ground oak bark mulch (not ground up yard waste) with a $20 delivery. I do own the equipment I use so adding rental cost on a job doesn't happen.

Licenses
Class A commercial with hazardous materials. TWIC this allows me in international areas. These are not meant for lawn care but they do mean I have been thoroughly checked out and approved by state and federal authority. I also have my Illinois state private sewage contractor's license from the department of natural resources. MSHA certificate and probably a couple more that don't have a lot to do with mowing grass but show ability.

Insurance

Questions & Answers
Q: What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A: Make sure to get multiple estimates especially on large projects. It's not even that some companies are pricing so much higher to profit more, they may not have the same resources. As an example, I have a small farm that allows me topsoil at no out of pocket cost. I have no dumping fees. I purchase my mulch in large quantities and can reload myself. The biggest suggestion I can make is if the company sends a sales person out they usually have a large overhead that you will be paying for so be aware there is a lot of unnecessary expense involved.
