About Judy
Judy Olson is the owner and principal designer for Judy Olson Interiors. She has been in the industry for over 9 years, and has completed over 100 design projects throughout California, Washington, and Hawaii. Judy has always been passionate about art and design but eventually dedicated herself to the practice of interior design. She attended the Design Institute of San Diego where she got her Bachelors degree, and afterward relocated to the bay area. Over time she has integrated herself in a variety of specialties such as custom cabinetry, custom furniture, window coverings, and home office design. While she has put a lot of time and labor into these areas, she has expertise in all areas of interior design. Judy is passionate about creating superb designs and satisfied clients. It is the goal of Judy Olson Interiors to create a beautiful design that meets your expectations and fits your lifestyle.

Examples include but are not limited to: custom cabinets and casegoods, lighting design, green design, color theory, special needs design, home office design, kitchen & bath, window coverings, and home staging. We are also budget friendly. We have connections with great quality vendors and contractors and can offer great discounts. Our ability to work directly with contractors makes projects go a lot smoother for you. Another factor that makes us different is we provide architectural documents, which may eliminate the need for an architect on smaller projects. Our ability to provide you with 3 dimensional renderings of the finished space ensures that you know what you are getting before you invest. We project manage. We offer unique services such as "Couple's Design" and "Concept Design". We CARE about our clients.

Clayton Kitchen Remodel
This 80's kitchen was in dire need of an update. After a full remodel coordinated by JOI, the kitchen feels much larger, brighter, and significantly more functional.

Hayward Hills Living Room
This large space was sparse and uninviting, and JOI transformed it into the perfect space for entertaining. With plenty of comfortable seating and lush draperies and rugs, it is warm, inviting, and perfect for family gatherings.

Clayton Family Room
This family room had a poor original layout and multiple issues. The fireplace was outdated with dark brick and some low dark oak veneer shelves. JOI designed and coordinated the install of a custom cabinet arrangement on the fireplace wall that is much more functional and utilizes more vertical surface. The white paint gives a clean, open look that completely makes the room. A new tile surround was specified, and thanks to this design, the family room has a much better layout and the homeowners couldn't be happier.

Danville Master Suite
This client was ready for a brand new look. JOI was hired to completely furnish-decorate this master suite from floor to ceiling. The design concept was a Vegas Spa Hotel. With a mix of copper, gold, silver, and rich plum, the results were phenomenal. The new master suite is relaxing, elegant, vibrant, and has all the visual amenities of a five star Vegas hotel.
