You always want to hire someone who you can rely on when you call them. You never want to track down a person or company once they have confirmed they are coming to do the job. Secondly, is the person or company you're hiring going to give you quality work at a fair price? If the answer to that question is no, then by all means find someone who is. You work hard for your money so find always someone who won't waste your time and money.

I recently completed a job for a customer in which she needed me to replace 2 ceiling fans with new ones and install 2 ceiling fans in rooms which did not have one originally. I finished the job no problem, the only issue I ran into was figuring out which switch turned off the power to one of the ceiling fans being that that house was brand new for my customer. I kept the cost as low as possible. I charged $130 for each of the new ceiling fans and $85 each for the ceiling fan installs. The customer was very happy with my work and my price.
