A: Why do I need to get an appraisal? Likely because its required for what you're doing. Need to establish fair market value for partnership or divorce, Step up basis for estate, Loan collateral, etc.

Q: Does your company offer discounts to senior citizens or veterans?
A: The VA has a set fee schedule that I follow. I give discounts for a multiple property portfolio.

Q: Describe a project or service that your company recently completed (include challenges, costs, and innovative solutions).
A: Appraisal in San Francisco has many challenges I experience almost daily. High value properties with significant amenities and upgrades are part of the assignment. A complex property can take a lot of additional time to research, discover and report. Sadly is not usually rewarding to the client.

How We Charge For Our Services
Real Estate Appraisers - Commercial
- $150.00 to $250.00 per hour
- $1,800.00 to $5,000.00 fixed fee - flat rate
Fees are generally based on the time it will take to research, analyze and report a specific commercial property.

Real Estate Appraisers - Residential
- $600.00 to $800.00 fixed fee for a residential lot (less than 1 acre)
- $600.00 to $1,000.00 fixed fee (single family home or condo)
