A: Hiring a great property inspection company requires research and interviews. You want to be comfortable and confident in your selection since home ownership is one of the most expensive endeavors for any person. Asking your potential inspector some of the following questions will help you find the best person for the job: 1. What experience do you have in the building and construction industry. - Experience is key in this industry. Home inspectors should have some experience in the construction and building industry. Look for an inspector that has a background they can drawl up to provide you with a thorough inspection. 2. Walk me through a typical inspection you would perform? - An inspection should be detailed and thorough. You want to select a home inspector that will take time and care when inspecting your property. 3. Do you allow your clients to participate in the inspection process? - Most often clients are present during the inspection. Your inspector should be encouraging of your participation at the inspection and should be willing to answer questions you may have along the way. 4. How long do you expect the inspection will take? - A inspection should be detailed and thorough. For a moderate sized single family home you should expect your inspector to be on-site for around 3 hours or longer. Smaller properties such as condominiums under 1000 sq. ft. should be around 2 hours. 5. We enjoy educating first-time home buyers and strive to customize each and every inspection to the unique customer's needs. For example, if you have young children or are elderly, we will point out safety upgrades you can make to your home to improve safety.

A: We are best known for being able to inspect areas others aren't. We've managed to fit into some of the smallest, tightest crawlspaces and some of the narrowest attics. If it is part of your home, we make every effort to inspect it!

A: Do you have weekend appointments? - Yes! We perform inspections 7 days a week. How long does it take to get my report? - We ask for up to 48 hours to complete your report. We do this so we can focus on you during the inspection and answer any questions you have along the way instead of trying to write a report while we inspect. Also, we take time in the office to review the photographs and look for issues we may have missed on-site. We also look up appliance and systems installation instructions when we suspect something may not be correct.
