A:	The Chem-free team is proud to make environmental stewardship for Austin a top priority. Our sustainability-minded team proudly adheres to the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM), providing both effective and conscientious lawn and pest control services.

The nature and extent of our warranties and guarantees vary with the type of service being covered. For instance, our rodent exclusion program comes with a comprehensive warranty with renewable terms of one year. Ask your service expert for details about coverage on your specific programs. For general pest control it's simple: if you're an ongoing customer, we come back as often as we need to until your crawling insect problem is fixed.

How often will you need to return for follow-up service appointments? The exact frequency of service varies in accordance with your property's needs and the customized program we've established for you. Pest control service frequencies depend on the nature of the issue. In general though, pest control is delivered every other month and lawn care is four times a year. What if treatments don't work? We stand behind both the products we use and the work we do. Our treatment plans come with a guarantee and comprehensive warranties cover our products and services. If you aren’t satisfied with our work, or if you continue to see pests, let us know and we will schedule a follow-up appointment, at no cost to you. You may see more pests immediately after your initial treatment as we try to address nesting areas and hiding spots through various methods. Your technician will prepare you for what to expect and what is normal during the course of treatment. What happens after my free inspection? After you approve the recommended treatment plan, we will schedule your initial treatment. One of our skilled technicians will return to your home to begin to implement your treatment plan. The duration and frequency of your treatments will depend on the types of pests you have and the severity of your infestation. You may see a brief uptick in pests after our first treatment, since we are often driving these animals out of their normal hiding spots. Over time, you will see fewer of these pests, until your property is pest-free.

Bobby Jenkins - Founder

Chem-free was founded and is still owned by Bobby Jenkins (of ABC Home & Commercial Services). Bobby wanted to dedicate and specialize in a segment of the pest control industry he believed to be under-developed. As a consequence, Austin area homeowners were asking for alternatives and options to conventional pest control methods and Bobby wanted to meet that demand. Even today, Chem-free is a completely separate business from ABC and utilizes it's own special set of local pest control experts and low-impact, pest control products.
