Q:

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
|
|
A:
|
Communication is key , for smaller companies like myself handling everything from quotes, paperwork, repairs , delivery, sending bills and doing the work is very consuming. Before I started this I wondered why sometimes I wouldn't get a call back ... then I realized 24hrs in a day isn't enough and scaling and finding good helpers while trying to build a system can at times cause a person to forget to follow up or not write things down because im in a rush . So sometimes it'd not that a person is lazy but im speaking from my experience

$55.00- $85.00 depending on property size and state . Upgraded packages are typically cheaper because the weeding is being done weekly with the mowing

Leaf Cleanup and Removal
- $50.00 to $85.00 per hour for raking and bagging - $120.00 to $220.00 fixed fee for 1/4 acre lot (most typical) - $150.00 to $250.00 fixed fee for 1/2 acre lot - $175.00 to $300.00 fixed fee for 1 acre lot - $50.00 to $85.00 per hour for curbside vacuuming or bag pick-up - $120.00 to $220.00 fixed fee for 1/8 acre lot Fall and spring clean ups are charged at a flat rate and it difficult to price per hour but this system left me with little choice.
New clients prices are mid range compared to competitors but im not cheap or expensive. Typically clean everything up and throughout the winter months I schedule to come biweekly or monthly, blow out the flower beds and leaves into the grass and mulch it up vs a large bill this is more practical. You are looking at $125.00 to $500.00 and that's just a rough number . Typically doing multiple trips on the lawn to mulch everything up and gas is expensive so it factors into quotes that's just the reality of things
