A prospective home buyer should contract with a home inspector before purchasing a new home to learn about the overall condition of the property. As certified home inspectors, we can also educate the buyer, our client, on how to care for their new home. Our electronic home inspection reports exceed ASHI Standards of Practice and include free preventative maintenance tips which will prove to be a valuable asset to our clients. The report will be sent to our client via e-mail and a printed copy will be available to them within 24 hours. Additionally, our clients are encouraged to participate in their home inspection. Meet your inspector at the house and allow two to three hours for the inspection. Don’t be shy and be sure to ask questions; your inspector is looking for defects and safety hazards so that you will be aware of them as you move forward in the home buying process. Deciding to have your new or existing home inspected is a very good decision.
