When looking for a contractor to clear off property, details of what you are trying to accomplish, and the end results, what you are visualizing in your head is very important to communicate. In doing so we can provide you with feedback of trees and shrubs that need to go and or what should stay in place, if soil needs to be taken out or brought in.

First, of course, the company must have a state license to do the job. This safeguards the trouble factor later. It is also an indication that they can provide the service as specified.
Another thing to consider is how the company charges for its services. Will they charge you a fixed fee based on the size of the property and the amount of work to be done, or will they charge based on how long it takes them to finish their work. Agreeing on how and how much you will be charged from the start will prevent potential headaches later.
