Acer Construction, LLC recently completed a residential remodeling project in Bradenton, Florida that involved updating a kitchen and adjoining living space to improve functionality and modernize the interior.
The scope of work included removal of outdated cabinets and countertops, installation of new shaker-style cabinetry, cabinet hardware installation, drywall repairs, interior painting, and installation of new appliances. Additional work included installing new baseboards, caulking and finishing trim work to give the space a clean, modern appearance.
One of the primary challenges during the project was correcting uneven wall surfaces and minor framing inconsistencies that were discovered after the old cabinets were removed. To address this, our team performed drywall shimming and surface preparation to ensure the new cabinets and countertops installed properly and aligned correctly. This step was critical to achieving a professional final result and preventing future issues.
The project required careful coordination of trades and scheduling to minimize disruption to the homeowner. Materials were staged and installed in phases so the kitchen remained partially functional during construction.
The total project cost was approximately $14,500, which included labor, demolition, cabinetry installation, trim work, painting, and finish carpentry.
