Schultz Design was established in 2008 by Jonathan D. Schultz, RA, ALA, NCARB.
With an extensive background in art, design and construction starting at an early age. Jon entered the architecture program at The University of Michigan, receiving a Master of Architecture Degree in 1990.
After completing the required intership and passing the Architectural Registration Exam, Jon became a Licensed Architect in 1996.
Bringing 16 years of extensive knowledge, creativity and experience in many different buildings types.
Schultz Design + Drafting was organized as a sole proprietorship. whose main emphasis is working with homeowners who desire a quality design that specifically addresses their needs. ?
Schultz Design maintains a strong philosophy in "Aging-in-Place" and "Universal Design" and works them into all of their designs.
With a growing economy and increased business Schultz Design has added additional staff. We are proud to add Paul as our Project Engineer and Manager.

Schultz Design is a BBB A+ accredited, award winning residential architectural design firm. We work with clients in Michigan, desiring quality residential designs that work. We specialize in designing vacation lake homes and primary homes. We also provide design and planning consultations.?
If a new house is not what you need we will work with you on designing an addition or renovation to your existing home.?
We incorporate Aging-in-Place and Universal Design into all of our designs. Wider doors, wider hallways or accessible bathrooms may not be needed for a few years but they do make a home that much more comfortable to live in.They also add value to your home and are an asset at resale.
