What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

We are professional Architects and Planners. In comparison, ensure that you are dealing with licensed professionals. Many have contracted with "designers" and offshore "designers" only to find out that they are unable to obtain a building permit.
And it is important to remember, the laws in the majority of States prohibit an Architect from signing/sealing/stamping drawings which were not completed under the Architect's direct supervision.

How We Charge For Our Services
|
Architects - Commercial
- $50.00 per hour (plus materials)
- 4.00 to 6.00 percent of construction cost
We prefer to have a Lump Sum Contract with payments based on progress.
However, this requires complete detailed knowledge of the proposed project, some times this is not possible at which time we suggest an hourly rate until the project can be defined and then provide a Lump Sum for a Contract to complete the project.

Architects - Residential
- $65.00 to $85.00 per hour (plus materials)
- $1.50 to $3.00 per square foot (design cost only)
- 1.00 to 2.00 percent of construction cost
We prefer to have a Lump Sum Contract with payments based on progress.
