What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?

It is important to verify the inspector’s qualifications and related field experience. If Home Inspection pricing is your main concern, it shouldn’t be. Remember that not all inspectors are alike and not all inspections are the same. Ask your prospective inspector for a sample report to see the detail they provide. Google your choices and read the reviews for their company. You will find that InFocus Inspection has loads of 5-star reviews and we take pride in customer service. Our sample report is on our website. There are a lot of options in Buffalo and WNY, we promise to be your best option.

What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?

Our most common services are Home Inspections, Radon Testing, Investor Inspections, Maintenance Inspections, and Thermal Imaging. We work with Buyers and Sellers in Amherst, Buffalo, Clarence, Hamburg, Lancaster, Orchard Park, West Seneca and numerous other areas in and around Western New York.

In what ways is your company environmentally friendly?

Instead of printing and delivering big bulky inspection reports, our reports are delivered as an interactive web page. This page features images, videos, and in-depth descriptions of the home components and any issues that we discover. If printed the average report is about 60-80 pages so this saves thousands of sheets of paper yearly. Additionally, all of our battery operated equipment is powered by rechargeable batteries which keep hundreds of batteries out of the landfills yearly.

We never leave our clients guessing about the inspection results, we take the time on site to explain defects as we go. After the report is completed we encourage communication and answer all your questions no matter how long it has been since we met on site of your new home. You will also receive a home maintenance book as a thank you for working with us and a great tool as you transition into your new home.

What separates your company from the competition?

Crawl spaces, attics, roofs; We go in and on. So many inspectors think that you can evaluate a roof from the ground or an attic from the hatch. Not InFocus Inspection. If it is accessible it will be thoroughly inspected. We also use high-tech and high-end tools in our inspections that others can't or won't afford. A FLIR thermal imager is used, a DJI HD Drone is used, A Fluke receptacle tester is used.

Attend your WNY home inspection, and if for any reason you’re not satisfied with the “Quality” of the home inspection service, tell your inspector before we leave the site and we’ll either make it right, or you don’t pay the home inspection fee! How We Charge For Our Services
|
Home Inspection Services
- $300.00 to $375.00 for less than 2,000 sf house
- $400.00 to $500.00 for 2,000-4,000 sf house
- $500.00 to $700.00 for +4,000 sf house
- $400.00 to $450.00 for 2,000 sf house (most typical)
We charge a flat rate based on the type of property (single family, duplex, triplex, etc...) and the total square footage of the home. In some cases, there is a trip fee when it is outside of our already quite large service area.
