Questions & Answers
Q: What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A: We offer TV Game Show Style programs which show people more about how they think so that they can be safer, more productive and better communicators. While nearly all of our program attendees find that our programs are a ton of fun they aren't for people who do not like watching (or being a contestant on) game shows. So: 1) Know your customers/clients/guests. 2) Understand what your supplier has to offer 3) Be sure there is a great match.

Q: What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?
A: We offer Education By Entertainment TV Games Show Style Programs designed to show people more about how they think so that they can be safer, more productive and better communicators. The programs are a ton of FUN, too!!!

Q: In what ways is your company environmentally friendly?
A: We reuse our packaging materials when it is practical to do so. We recycle those materials we cannot reuse. Most important, we would never do a balloon release!!! We reuse balloons ourselves or give to a charity whenever practical to do so. We keep and/or deflate and properly discard all balloons after events.

Q: What would you like your customers to know about your company?
A: We offer Educational Programs such as Mind Games which are a ton of Fun. They are great for: A: Academics (schools, colleges, universities) B: Birthdays and Businesses C: Celebrations, Conferences and Conventions Here are the eight words used most frequently by our program attendees in 2017 to describe our programs: Amazing, Awesome, Cool, Engaging, Entertaining, Fun, Informative and Interesting.

Q: What is your company best known for?
A: Our Education by Entertainment programs such as Mind Games.

Q: What separates your company from the competition?
A: I am not aware of any other companies that offer what we offer.

Q: Does your company offer a warranty or guarantee?
A: No, but we do everything practical to make our programs educational and fun.

Q: What questions do customers most frequently ask you? What is your answer?
A: Q: How long have you been doing these types of programs? A: In one form or another since the 1970s.

Q: Does your company offer discounts to senior citizens or veterans?
A: We guarantee to make our programs affordable to people/organizations who really want them (after covering our travel expenses, if significant travel is involved.)

Q: Describe a project or service that your company recently completed (include challenges, costs, and innovative solutions).
A: We offered one of our Education by Entertainment TV Game Show Style programs for a 10th High school Reunion. Offering the program for the reunion was innovative. We incorporated a celebration of a couple recently married as well as a birthday into our program format. We were invited to do the program on relatively short notice, so our challenge was planning our program and getting all materials together quickly. Our costs were minimal (prizes for Game Show contestants and supplies for the programs). The reunion organizer said: "Ron was a great entertainer during our 10 year reunion, he kept the audience engaged and truly made participants reexamine the way they perform their day to day activities. It was not only a pleasure to work with him on my class reunion but also a pleasure to get to know Ron as a person. Book him for your next event, you will not regret it!"

Several chambers of commerce: .East Greenwich (Rhode island) Chamber of Commerce .East Bay (Rhode Island) Chamber of Commerce I am a Fellow in several professional organizations: .American Psychological Association (APA) .Eastern Psychological Association (EPA) .Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) .American Indian Scientific and Engineering Society (AISES) I am a member of several other professional organizations including: .Phi Kappa Phi (Academic Honor Society) .Sigma Xi (Scientific Research organization) .Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychologists (SIOP)

Q: Tell us a little about your company.

Testimonials
Your piece at the {Eastern Psychological Association} conference was really fun, engaging and full of information. I'm always looking for ways to make learning fun for my students and you certainly nailed it! -- Cathleen Greenan, Dutchess Community College
Ronald Shapiro delivers highly engaging and educational presentations. I have had the opportunity to be in the audience for several of his presentations, and have acquired great takeaways from each one. His presentations are very dynamic and thoughtfully prepared! -- Margarita Posada, Ph.D.
Your presentation was thought provoking, interactive, but most importantly fun. You have a natural gift to “edu-tain” and keep the audience engaged. -- Mason Walker, President, Associated Students, Mesa College
Your presentation was by far my favorite at EPA. I wanted to let you know that it was very informative and fun which is a great combination. -- Ashley Beryl Reid, University of Baltimore
Your presentation was terrific! Students rarely think of IO and industry as a career possibility for psychology. The resume and networking part of your talk was so helpful. This was real-world advice that was truly appreciated. -- Melanie M. Arpaio, Psi Beta Eastern Region VP, Assistant Professor of Psychology, Sussex County Community College
I love the tricks you had (you got me good!) so I will absolutely let you know when I or someone I may know could benefit from one of your programs. -- Kristen Whelan,Transportation Consultant, Liberty International, Inc.
I learned a lot not only from the games you played but also from the way you carried them out. You had tricks for us to watch (blindfolded volunteers) and tricks for the whole class to participate in (such as the misspelt poem). Each trick was sequenced to take us farther and get us to think in a different manner. I was captivate wondering what would happen next and constantly wondering how I would do if it was me behind the blindfold. It was an excellent experience to feel the games from the audience perspective so when I do several of these exercises with my class I can anticipate what they feel. THANK YOU! -- Emily Baxter, Science Teacher, New Haven CT
It was interactive and fun filled. We read concepts in psychology over and over again, but to see it cleverly demonstrated, was awarding. -- Nritya Ramani, New York Behavioral Research Conference
From 2008-2010, Maestro Ronald G. Shapiro of Providence RI has offered 3 interactive 90-minute workshops in New York City on his remarkable work on “Games to explain human factors.” He is truly a master in science education, whose work has been uniformly praised—from novice students to seasoned colleagues--who participated in these NYC workshops. -- Harold Takooshian, PhD Past-President, APA Division on International Psychology
Your piece at the {Eastern Psychological Association} conference was really fun, engaging and full of information. I'm always looking for ways to make learning fun for my students and you certainly nailed it! -- Cathleen Greenan, Dutchess Community College
Ron's workshop on Games to Explain Human Factors is full of interactive demonstrations. The audience is engaged and entertained while learning about findings in psychology and human factors. Games is always well attended and enjoyed by all. -- Patricia R. DeLucia, Ph.D. President, APA Division 21
