Due diligence is key to finding a great company like ours. At BioScapes we always advise our clients to get at least 2 additional estimates. We want our clients to feel that we are a good fit for them. Getting quotes from other companies will help you to make an informed and confident decision about who you hire to do your project.
Things you want to look at is a company's website, do they have reviews? Do they have pictures of past projects? What is the process like if you chose a company? How will I know at what stage my project is at? Does the company have a customer service line if you need something along the way? Is the company insured and how do you get an estimate? Is there a contract in place.
You then meet the estimator he should be knowledgeable, professional and detail oriented. The estimator should listen to exactly what it is that you are trying to achieve with your project. Its beneficial and saves time if you know your budget and communicate that to the estimator. Many people don't do this because they don't know if they are going to be taken for a ride or they have had issues with people in the past.
