Questions & Answers
Q: What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A: We are all about redundancy and disaster recovery. If you are a 10 person business with one or multiple locations looking to bundle your voice and data services, or even stand alone services. We offer affordable packages and solutions. We do not lock our clients into contracts. You stay with us because you want to.

Q: What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?
A: Existing small to midsize (one or multisite locations) businesses looking to upgrade their systems, trying to save money or having difficulty understanding the technological solutions available to them. They are also struggling to keep up with business applications and how to incorporate them into their business. We've been in business catering to this marketplace for 35 years and very comfortable helping them achieve their goals.

Q: In what ways is your company environmentally friendly?
A: We are a systems company utilizing energy efficient products and data center applications. Sometimes its nothing more than not using that extra piece of paper and we recycle everything, from boxes, old equipment and left over copper wire.

Q: What would you like your customers to know about your company?
A: We support all our clients endeavors, go the extra mile, always pick up the phone and always work nicely with the other players their organization contracts with. We "play nice in the sandbox" as they say. There are plenty of times we work with our competitors to deliver solutions. We're only as good as our clients are happy!

Q: What is your company best known for?
A: Service with a smile, a reasonable invoice and complete honesty.

Q: What separates your company from the competition?
A: Me and the culture I've created for my organization.

Q: Does your company offer a warranty or guarantee?
A: Yes

Q: What questions do customers most frequently ask you? What is your answer?
A: What happens if I need you? How easy is it to reach you? We have a pretty simple escalation procedure for service, support, sales. It's two line items!

Q: Does your company offer discounts to senior citizens or veterans?
A: As we are strictly a B2B organization, we offer discounts to veteran owned businesses.

Q: Describe a project or service that your company recently completed (include challenges, costs, and innovative solutions).
A: See in the "Tell Us a Little About Your Company" section for Winged Foot Golf Club.

Q: Is your company a member of any associations?
A: We belong to several associations in the Tri State Region

Q: Tell us a little about your company.
A: Total Advanced Communications, LLC TAC Communications, Inc. was founded in 1977 by Tito Cerrati Sr. offering professional sound solutions to both private sector and government projects such as the 34th St. Main Post Office in NYC, West Point Military Academy Parade Grounds, Clinton Castle, J.C. Penny, Woolworth and Woolco stores nationally. He designed and installed back ground music systems to some of the most renowned restaurants in NYC from the Brasserie to the Trattoria. Tito created a new business from his sound engineer background and brought that passion into the prestigious NYC real estate market, providing building communications to some of the most affluent buildings in NYC from the Dakota, to the Majestic to Park Ave and Fifth Ave coops and condos. His work ethic and discipline is the cornerstone of which the company still builds on today. Arthur Cerrati joined his father in 1986 expanding the business into security applications; burglar alarms, fire alarms, computer security, access control and CCTV systems. Some of our projects included Columbia University, Lamont Doherty Geological Observatory and Stevens Institute to name a few. We provided the first of its kind slow scan CCTV and access control in 1990 to multifamily building projects with 20 plus buildings in each of the complexes. Phipps Houses, New Settlement Apartments and Woodycrest Center (the country’s first AIDs Hospice) were showcases for networking before networking was a reality. In 1996 we branched out into telecommunications services, offering local and long distance service as well as data LAN / WAN services; Frame Relay, ATM and VPN applications. After September 11th we realized the importance of diversified networking and disaster recovery in every business we touched. We provided services to IBM Disaster Recovery Centers, EZ Pass of NJ, The Bond Market, Affiliated Computer Systems, and yes, we even set up Mark Zuckerburg in his first data center in 2004. By 2004, business branched

Q: Has your company received any awards?

Q: What forms of payment do you accept? (cash, check, credit cards, etc.)
