How We Charge For Our Services

Designer - Interior Lighting Plan
- $50.00 to $120.00 per hour (plus materials)
- $500.00 to $1,000.00 fixed fee for typical two-story home
Lighting can be really detailed, or simple. The price reflects a basic package which is choosing the types of fixtures in your home.

Interior Designers - Commercial
- $180.00 to $230.00 per hour (plus materials)
- $2.50 to $6.90 per square foot (design cost only)
Commercial work is much more work than residential work. We price our commercial work for square footage if the design is more personable. If the design is universal, we charge hourly.

Interior Designers - Residential
- $120.00 to $150.00 per hour (plus materials)
- 12.00 to 43.00 percent of furnishings cost
We typically bill on an estimate of how long the project will take. For example, if a bathroom remodel usually takes 32 hours to complete (of design work) we charge our clients $120/hr for 32 hours = $3,840 for that bathroom project. Tumo also does not take projects with less than $10,000 in design services.
