I thought Asbestos wasn't used any longer?
Asbestos may be found in hundreds of products through out your home or building. Colorado regulates the asbestos industry with a no tolerance policy Colorado Regulation #8). All renovation or demolition projects that are planned, HAVE to be tested by a certified asbestos firm and an asbestos inspector prior to any renovation or demolition activity.

Mold remediation projects are always a challenge. You cant see, so we have to find it and assure we are addressing all the areas it has effected. We remediate mold in the same manner we remove asbestos. Engineering controls third party air testing. Mold is not regulated like asbestos but we take the extreme route to get rid of it!

Our family was innovative back in the late 70's. My brother invented a 3 piece decontamination and a negative air machine to create negative air pressure. My father helped with the regulations for building inspections and air monitoring because there weren't any. There were no personal protective measures for asbestos. Our first company in the 80's was called Major Insulators, and my fathers company was a consulting company called Major Safety. 30 some years later we (my siblings) have come together and combined all our services Called The Major Group.
