We've been online since early 2000's
ONLINE EARLY:
I have always had a love for computers and started at a very early age integrating technology into my every day life. Early on, I had no idea, that "Social Media" would be what it is today. I found it a quick and easy was to connect with the outside world, when I was stuck in a hospital for four months, with my first husband who was battling cancer. I was blogging before "blogging" was ever a real term! I kept a daily journal of his progress and treatments and connected with people all over the world fighting the same battle. I started online support groups, like "Cancer Caregivers R Us" in 2003; Participated in Research online, started the first version of Get Networking Now, as a Yahoo! Group to connect businesses and .... I even met my (now) husband online!

Where My SM Pro Started
In 2008, It seemed like a natural move, to start My Social Media Pro (formerly known as Get Social Networking Now!)- the first company in the Greater Sacramento Area to offer social media set-up and maintenance programs. Soon, Super Social Kiosks came onto the scene and we knew right away this was the product that we had been waiting for! We then added it to our menu of services and became the first rental company for Social Media Kiosks and the first social media company to implement them into our client's social strategy!
My business adventures have led me to so many wonderful opportunities and people. I can not tell you the level of connections I have made, not only here in the Sacramento Region, but around the world! In my work, I use creativity, along with the latest technologies to make the mastering of crazy world of business management, social media and online marketing easy!

Who is Rebecca Johnson?
On a personal note, I am a lover of coffee, good food and good music. I was widowed in my 20's, remarried (for nearly 7 years!); planning an adoption, so my "furry children" can have "human" siblings! Dan and I enjoy roadtrips, good movies and spending time with the people who mean the most to us! I love a good bargain (Yes, I am an extreme couponer too!). I am passionate about serving: Sacramento Heart Gallery, American Cancer Society, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Relay for Life, Bark for Life, -- the list goes on and on. If it has to do with kids, dogs or cancer, Im there!
