Questions & Answers
Q: What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a company like yours?
A: The bottom line is the finished product. The shoddy end product of an inexperienced or price only demolition contractor often remains long after the lower price is forgotten. Ask for references, proof of required insurances, licensing, pictures, permits and proof of proper disposal of debris, a reputable contractor should have no issues supplying all of these for you to view or contact

Q: What is the most common type of project or service your company provides?
A: The demolition that Land Services performs the most is residential, with light commercial as second

Q: In what ways is your company environmentally friendly?
A: We recycle concrete, iron and aluminum removed during demolition, dispose of the demolition debris in an approved construction and demolition dump, contain dust during the actual demolition when water is available onsite, and seed the disturbed areas to promote quick grass growth to reduce erosion

Q: What would you like your customers to know about your company?
A: Our motto is "Demolition Done Right!" When we leave a site, the job has been raked and hand picked clean, neighboring properties have been cleaned of wind-blown trash or debris, ruts have been leveled and grass seed planted on the disturbed soil areas. We have 20+ years of satisfied customers in the area, many of which that would be glad to tell you of our great work ethics.

Q: What is your company best known for?
A: A timely, clean kept demolition job.

Q: What separates your company from the competition?
A: Structure demolition, by it's nature, is generally a noisy and messy type of work, but with a little planning and effort, the contractor doing the work can greatly minimize it's disruptive effects for both the job owner as well as the surrounding neighbors and businesses

Q: Does your company offer a warranty or guarantee?
A: Our guarantee is that the job isn't complete until the job owner and I inspect the site and the owner is happy with the work performed.

Q: What questions do customers most frequently ask you? What is your answer?
A: "How will you tear it down" is probably the most common, with "how long will it take to complete the job" running a close second. I explain out procedure for demolishing the structure with the excavator, and that most single family dwellings can be usually completed in a week. Many are amazed at how non-violent and controlled the structure demolition actually is.

Q: Does your company offer discounts to senior citizens or veterans?
A: Yes we do offer discounts to both.

Q: Describe a project or service that your company recently completed (include challenges, costs, and innovative solutions).
A: We recently demolished a burnt out 1600 sq.ft. residence in which the owner wanted to rebuild the same house on the existing concrete foundation. We demolished the structure while minimizing damage to the concrete and J-bolts, as well as the in-slab plumbing. This saved the homeowner the cost of pouring a new foundation, as well as the time required to do so. This will allow the homeowner to be back in his new home sooner. This project was done for $5800.00

Q: Has your company received any awards?
A: We recieved a in person commendation and thank you from the then parish president for the timely, neat and minimally disruptive demolition of a parish owned building that was in close proximity the the parishes historic courthouse and District Attorneys office.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept? (cash, check, credit cards, etc.)
A: Cash and checks
