So be sure you are getting a fair price as these services tend to be overpriced. Also, are you working with a company who is FCRA compliant? Do NOT purchase data from an internet data broker and expect to get any level of customer service and proper consultation regarding proper prescreening solutions.

With background screening, the main question is: What type of reports should I pull on my new hires? Our answer comes from the needs assessment we do with every client. We don't want them to order data that's not needed, but on the other hand, we don't want them to be missing critical information in the prescreening process.
With drug testing, it is: What is the best option for my business when it comes to testing new hires and/or existing employees for drugs. Our answer varies based on their situation. DOT regulated companies have to utilize a 5 panel lab based drug test. That test can be administered onsite or offsite, depending on their wants and needs. For non DOT companies, they have the option of lab testing or lower cost instant drug test kits that are easy to administer and provide immediate results.

We recently added a new client which is a well known international non profit organization. They were looking for a solution to be able to offer instant drug test kits to a broad base, including families, schools, churches, rehab and recovery clinics and others. They priced these kits and tried to arrange a deal with a few major national drug chains but the pricing they were being quoted was just too high. They were finding prices in the $12-$16 range. We were able to offer a more robust instant drug test kit for them at less than $3.00 per kit based on their volume purchase! Clearly, they were thrilled that they would be able to accomplish their goal of offering these kits to those in need around the world at a price that they could afford!
